About Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG)
CUET also known as Common University Entrance Test is being adopted by the Ministry of Education to be used for enrolling into all central universities for their UG Programs for the academic year 2022-2023. (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) would provide candidates nationally with a standard platform and fair possibilities, especially those from rural and other remote areas. It will also strengthen links with institutions. By passing a single exam, the Candidates will be able to take part in the admissions process for a number of Central Universities.

88 universities participated in CUET 2022, and it is anticipated that number would rise considerably in CUET 2023. Three sections—Section IA & IB (Languages), Section II (Domain Subjects), and Section III—will make up CUET 2023. (General Test). These are the sections:
- Languages, Section IA & IB (40 Questions to be attempted out of 50 Questions)
- Section II: Particular Domains (40 Questions to be attempted out of 50 Questions)
- Test in Section III: General (60 Questions to be attempted out of 75 Questions)
All candidates must now be aware of the CUET Exam Pattern in order to start preparing early and create a winning exam plan for CUET 2023. The CUET entrance test will be administered online in two shifts as a CBT (Computer Based Test) (Morning & Afternoon). Depending on the slot you choose, the test will last 3 hours 15 minutes (for the morning shift) or 3 hours 45 minutes (for the afternoon shift). Each successful effort will award the applicant 5 points, while each unsuccessful attempt will result in a 1-point deduction. Understanding the CUET 2023 Exam Pattern is one of the most crucial things you can do to aid in your CUET Exam preparation.
On the exam’s official website, applicants had to complete the CUET application form online. The initial step was to register by providing the necessary information, including name, address, and contact information. Thus, login credentials will be generated. Candidates had to go on with their registration credentials, complete the CUET 2022 application form with their personal and academic information, choose their preferred program and exam city, and submit any supporting documentation. Candidates were required to pay the CUET application cost online after completing the form using a debit/credit card, Net Banking, Paytm, or UPI.
